Marine nomadism has almost completely disappeared in South East Asia as a result of severe marine degradation. I believe children such as Enal have stories that could prove pivotal in contemporary marine conservation.

If I was in LA I’d certainly be heading to Mike Mitchell’s solo show at Gallery 1988 which opens on Friday. At least I have these samples to whet my appetite.

This is just too awesome… Two competing IPAs made without hops (NO IBUs!).

To achieve a Zero IBU IPA, the brewers agreed upon a list of ingredients — spearmint, bay leaves, rosemary, juniper berries, and elderflower — to replace the bitterness typically imparted by hops.

I’d love to see these competing recipes.
